First Look, yay or nay?

You might be wondering if a First Look is for you. Let me ask all the questions you have about that very important question. Although a First Look is not a traditional way to see your soon-to-be-spouse on your wedding day, it is the most convenient.

If you value pictures and want to get the most out of your wedding day, then the First Look is a must. Let me explain you why:

  • Alleviates pressure from your timeline. Seeing your fiancĂ© beforehand allows me to work with your romantic portraits a little longer. And depending on the time of your first look, we could even fit bridal party photos and family photos. Think about it, we do all those formalities before the ceremony, which means you might be able to enjoy cocktail hour!

  • Makes the rest of your day stress-free. I can tell you by experience that the most reason for the couple's stress is to see their partners for the first time. Once you see each other all the stress wears away and the rest of the day is only joy and fun.

  • The first time you see each other is very intimate. It will be only you and your fiancĂ©, no one else (unless you decide to have more people looking at you). But it is up to YOU if you want to be only with your loved one or if you want friends and family as witnesses to that special moment.

Now that you have a clearer picture of what a First Look is, you can decide if this is for you or not. There is no wrong or correct answer, it is only what works better for you.
